Jenni Newbury on the Meredith Viera Show

Jenni Newbury (2006), Executive Director and founder of PALS programs was featured on the Meredith Vieira Show this month!  PALS Programs creates immersive experiences where young adults with Down syndrome and their peers have fun, grow as individuals, and develop transformative friendships.  Their programs take place in the form of weeklong sleep-away camps, weekend Adventures and an initiative called The Congratulations Project.  This project provides our campers the opportunity to write letters to new parents of babies with Down syndrome. During the show segment, Jenni reunited a camper and the baby to whom the letter was written.
