January 2018 Accolades

Sneha Dave (2016) reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro with her Coke Scholars hat in hand on Christmas Day! In her own words, “This was a special moment, because my freshman year of high school, I could barely walk five steps, but just a few years later I was able to complete one of seven summits – the beginning of a lifelong dream! More than anything, I hope this can show people with chronic illnesses that recovery both physically and mentally is absolutely possible.” Hear more about Sneha’s story here.

James Ho (1991) has been nominated to be a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals

for the Fifth Circuit.  He is the former Solicitor General of Texas.

 

Scott Jennings (1996) has been appointed as a spring resident fellow at

the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics, where he will develop and lead a

weekly study group that explores the status of the two-party system and the rise of

tribalism.  Scott is a Courier Journal columnist who is also a CNN contributor and

former assistant to President George W. Bush.

 

Lesley Wainwright (1994) was promoted to Senior Vice President and Associate

General Counsel at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. in Atlanta.

 

Former White House Fellow, Dr. Robert Accordino (1999) was appointed

as Chief of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at CareMore Health in Cerritos, CA.
