Scholars got together for pizza and Coke at MIT, University of California-Berkeley, and Case Western Reserve University, and CCSF hosted receptions in Chicago, Seattle, and Portland.
An athletic and academic star, LJ took it a step further. He started In the Game, a tutoring organization to help keep his fellow athletes eligible to participate.

Philip McAdoo (1989) published a book dedicated to honoring the lives and stories of youth in foster care and LGBTQ families, and Jolene Loetscher (1997) and her husband Nate Burdine received a Silver Telly Award for a video they produced for our 2016 Scholars Banquet.
