Daron Roberts (1997) traveled to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where he served as the keynote for an event to benefit Feeding South Dakota sponsored by two businesses owned by Coca-Cola Scholar Jolene Loetscher (1997). The 30-member Program Reading Committee gathered at Emory University in Atlanta January 18th-21st to read nearly 2000 Semifinalist applicants and recommend 250 to advance as Regional Finalists for interviews in February. Special thanks to Scholar alumni Eva Amesse (2007), Jamaal Barnes (2005), Devery Doran (2003), Mike Doughty (1993), Marc Guzman (2006), Kate Lash (2009), Michael Park (2007), and Carly Valenzuela (2009) who served on that committee.
Brandon Dale (2013) stopped by the Coca-Cola Headquarters to visit the CCSF team.
Brandon Hardy (2016) came to visit the Coca-Cola Headquarters. He was recently featured on the news for his school spirit at Notre Dame. Find out why he’s called the “Gold Jacket Guy.”

Gabriel Nagel (2023) was selected as the Chairperson of the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s National Environmental Youth Advisory Council, making him the youngest Chairperson of an official U.S. federal advisory council.

2023 Scholars Reya Singh and Mandy Zhang created New Roots Financial, an organization dedicated to helping immigrants and refugees become financially literate, after they connected at the 2023 Coca-Cola Scholars Leadership Development Institute.
