Our team had dinner with Coke Scholars Mike Woodward, Erin Muffoletto, Esteban Abeyta, and Yalda Barlas in Albuquerque while they were in town for the National Scholarship Providers Association (NSPA) Conference.

USC Scholars Justin Kawaguchi (2017), Estephanie Garcia (2018), Jenny Ha (2018), Cooper Yerby (2015), Nihar Sheth (2017), and Talie Cloud (2018) gathered for a Slices for Scholars Event. At these events, Coca-Cola Scholars on the same campus get together for pizza and a Coke.

They ran into J.J. Jaxon (1994, second from right) who was also there with his wife.

Ingrid Loveras (2008) came by our office to visit. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and now works for Teach for America Houston. Fellow Scholar Pegah Taylor (2003) has a KIPP school in Houston and the two now work together.
