June 2025 Scholar Accolades

Jackson Blackwell (2017) was selected to represent Alaska at the 2025 Western Governors’ Association Leadership Institute and Shine Gerkariah (2024) received the David Nicklas Organ Donor Awareness Foundation Award for their advocacy and research in ethical innovation and health equity.

May Accolades 2017

Philip McAdoo (1989) published a book dedicated to honoring the lives and stories of youth in foster care and LGBTQ families, and Jolene Loetscher (1997) and her husband Nate Burdine received a Silver Telly Award for a video they produced for our 2016 Scholars Banquet.

April 2017 Accolades

Kathryn Minshew (2004), published a book, The New Rules of Work: The Modern Playbook for Navigating Your Career, and Daria Torres (1992) advised a team of students who were named as global finalists for the Hult Prize.

Scholars and alumni cheered on the Boston Bruins as guests of The Coca-Cola Company, and Starts with Soap, a nonprofit founded by 2016 Coke Scholars, hosted a fundraiser in Nashville.
