Justin Pearson (2013) represented his organization, Memphis Community Against the Pipeline (MCAP), on VICE News and CBS This Morning.

Carlee Goldberg (2018) was named a 2021 Truman Scholar. Carlee attends Duke University and is from Florida.
Justin Pasquariello (1997) will be honored by the Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps with the Embracing the Legacy award on May 11 during the organization’s annual virtual celebration for the work he has done as a champion for children in foster care.
Kavita Shukla (2002), inventor of FreshPaper, is being featured as part of “Picturing Women Inventors,” a new Smithsonian exhibition at the National Museum of American History challenging preconceived notions about gender and innovation. The display is meant to inspire with stories about what women inventors have accomplished and how their breakthroughs are part of people’s daily lives. FreshPaper was also on Good Morning America for Earth Day.
