June 2022 Connections

Alina Zaidi (2022) was proud to present her Educator of Distinction certificate and pen to her biology and chemistry teacher, Dr. Morrow, at North Allegheny Senior High School in Pittsburgh, PA.
Two Coke Scholars got married! Sejal Hathi (2009, middle right), the White House senior policy adviser for public health and an assistant professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins, and Sheel Tyle (2008, middle left), the founder and CEO of global VC firm Amplo, wed on June 11 on the island of Paros, Greece. The ceremony was officiated by former Australian PM Julia Gillard. Michael Tubbs (2008, left) and his wife Anna (right) joined the celebration.
Brianna Chan (2022, left) attended fellow 2022 Coke Scholar Vicky Vo’s (center) high school graduation in Little Elm, Texas.
As part of our Coke Scholars Summer Refresh Series, Riva Rahl (1991, top left), a physician in Dallas, led a virtual class on the ABCs of Good Health.
Iman Cooper (2011, top middle) led an interactive class on Emotions in the Workplace using the Emotional Culture Deck tool for our Coke Scholars Summer Refresh Series.
Juliana Tafur (2003), Mehul Patel (1994), and Anita Kishore (1995) had lunch together when Juliana was visiting NYC.
Kolade Apata (2000) and a guest attended the Starfish Ball for the Maori Foundation in Atlanta as a guest of The Coca-Cola Company.
Ericia Ward (CCSF, top left) and Carolyn Norton (CCSF, second top left) led their first focus group with Scholars from all years to discuss how we can better engage alumni across life stages as part of our new Strategic vision.
